The Society's founding institution. Serving the children of Akola for over six decades with quality Urdu-medium secondary education.
Nurturing Minds, Shaping Futures
For over six decades, the Urdu Education Society Akola has stood as a beacon of learning, culture, and opportunity for the people of Vidarbha. From a single school founded on a vision of inclusive education, we have grown into a family of institutions that serves thousands of students every year.
Our Founding Principles
Consistently producing first-division graduates and 100% pass rates through rigorous, research-informed teaching.
Preserving the rich tradition of Urdu language and culture while preparing students for a modern, evolving world.
Serving diverse sections of society through schools, teacher education, vocational training, and outreach programmes.
Our Story
Founded in 1960 by Late Shri Khan Mohammad Asghar Husain — former Member of the Lok Sabha from Akola — the Urdu Education Society was born from a single conviction: that no child should be denied quality education because of their language or background.
Over 65 years later, that conviction remains unchanged. What began as one school in Akola is today a family of ten institutions — schools, a junior college, a B.Ed. college, and a vocational training centre — all united by the same purpose.
